How the calculation works
- Staff time: invoices × minutes per invoice × hourly staff cost (including on-costs).
- Direct costs: printing and postage for paper invoices you send.
- Errors: invoices that need correcting × time to fix each one.
- E-invoicing: the remaining handling time you expect, plus your provider's per-invoice and monthly fees, plus one-off set-up spread over three years.
